Purpose of Position:
To manage the Penny Pincher’s store donations processes and operations safely and efficiently in order to ensure high quality and a high volume of sales. |
Examples of Duties:
- Develop and maintain working relationships with donation sources of all kinds
- Interpret Penny Pincher’s/Youth Employment Training programs as necessary.
- Co-develop print and other advertisements or promotional materials.
- Develop and implement the procedures related to all Penny Pincher’s donations
- Understanding and interaction with the voucher program
- Work cooperatively with the Discovery Initiative and other NYFS staff
- Complete reports and ongoing correspondence as needed
- Assist the Donations coordinator
- Develop delivery schedules to include input from store coordinator(s)
- Maintain high-quality working relationships with all store employees and volunteers.

Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Excellent customer service skills
- Must have car and valid MN driver’s license and insurance
- Familiarity with NW Ramsey county and surrounding communities
- Must be able to communicate effectively in verbal and written forms
- Knowledge of NYFS programming and services
- Ability to work independently and in small groups managing multiple tasks
- Ability to work in a collaborative environment
- Basic Computer skills (word processing, e-mail, etc.)
- Must be physically fit and able to safely lift furniture weighing 50 pounds frequently.
