Purpose of Position:
To provide therapeutic services for children, adolescents, adults and their families. The person in this position will provide a large portion of services with elementary school age children and their families. Many services will require close coordination with school personnel and may be school based. |
Duties include:
- Complete diagnostic assessments for children, adolescents and adults
- Develop treatment plans for same and provide therapeutic services as appropriate
- Track and administer evaluative tools as necessary
- Maintain 60% direct service
- This position will involve significant school-based and school-linked services
- Collaboration with other collaterals such as physicians, court systems etc. as appropriate.
- Community education and outreach.
- Manage paperwork in a timely manner.
- Perform other tasks for benefit of the agency

Qualifications:
- LICSW, LMFT, or LP.
- 3 years post Masters mental health therapy experience preferred.
- Experience and interest in working with elementary school age (and possibly younger) children and their families.
- Strong candidates will have a solid understanding and practice sensitivity to the cultural and socioeconomic differences among service populations.
- Individuals with diverse cultural backgrounds strongly encouraged to apply.
- Proven ability to form community relationships and work collaboratively with other organizations.
