Salary:
$27,000 - $31,050 DOQ

Purpose of Position:

To manage the Penny Pincher´s store donations processes and operations safely and efficiently in order to ensure high quality and a high volume of sales.

Examples of Duties:

  • Develop and maintain working relationships with donation sources of all kinds
  • Interpret Penny Pincher’s/Youth Run Business programs as necessary in the community to churches, schools, philanthropic organizations, civic groups, etc.
  • Co-develop print and other advertisements or promotional materials.
  • Develop and implement the procedures related to all Penny Pincher’s donations 
  • Understanding and interaction with the voucher program
  • Ensure accurate statistical data is maintained and submitted in a timely manner.
  • Complete reports and ongoing correspondence as needed
  • Manage costs and revenues to ensure budget is met
  • Assist in the supervision and training of the Donations Assistant.
  • Develop delivery schedules to include input from store coordinator(s)
  • Maintain high-quality working relationships with all store employees and volunteers.

Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent and 2 years post secondary education
  • Experience working in retail operations and sales
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Basic computer skills using Microsoft Word, Excel, and Power-Point
  • Must have car and valid MN driver’s license and insurance
  • Ability to operate a 12’-16’ “cube” truck
  • Must be able to communicate effectively in verbal and written forms
  • Experience presenting information in a public setting in front of various sized groups and audiences
  • Ability to work independently and in small groups managing multiple tasks
  • Must be physically fit and able to safely lift furniture weighing 50 pounds frequently.
