Purpose of Position:
To be an active participant in creating a positive therapeutic environment that contributes to the clients’ ability to develop healthy life skills and successfully address their therapeutic needs resulting in a successful transition to their home school.

Examples of Duties:
- Provide therapeutic and case management services for assigned clients.
- Develop appropriate treatment plan with client that flows from the diagnostic, assessment, treatment services and case management services.
- Provide weekly individual therapy for assigned clients.
- Provide daily group therapy and other therapeutic groups and activities as assigned.
- Maintain accurate and timely records on all assigned clients - treatment plan, weekly case notes, monthly consultation, monthly progress reports and three month review including discharge summary for the purpose of effective client interventions, accountability and administration.
- Develop and implement proactive behavior and crisis plan for each client.
- Maintain regular communication with client’s family and other involved parties.
- Collaborate with team members to provide a safe, therapeutic and structured milieu.
- Attend and be an active participant at all scheduled staff meetings and case consultation.

Qualifications:
- MA/MS degree in social work, creative arts therapy, psychology, family therapy or other human development field. Licensure a plus.
- Experience with SED youth required.
- Strong teamwork, flexibility and creativity a must!
- Strong computer software skills and experience using Microsoft Office.
