- Counseling Services
NYFS offers one to one and family-based counseling sessions to assist
with a variety of family-related difficulties including grief and loss,
divorce, step-parenting and parenting through the teen years.
- Educational and Support
Groups
Throughout the year, Mental Health staff offer year-round groups on
parenting issues such as raising children with Attention Deficit
Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD) and severe emotional disturbances (SED),
parenting teens and other issues.
- Community Social Workers
Community Social Workers identify and serve families in need while
connecting them with local support services including housing
assistance, counseling services and educational opportunities.
