About the Discovery Center

NYFS’ 10,000 square foot multipurpose facility can be used for:

  • Conferences
  • Classrooms
  • Sporting events
  • Special events
  • Weddings

During the school day, the space gives students enrolled in our NETS (Northwest Educational and Therapeutic Services) program much needed space for physical and mental wellness activities. The space is available for rental after these times.

Equipment

 

The Discovery Center is equipped with:

  • Podium
  • 30 round tables
  • 12 rectangular tables
  • Audio visual equipment is available for a fee.

 

Catering

Guests can bring in their own licensed caterer. Proof of catering license must be submitted two weeks prior to event. Alcohol is permitted, however NYFS reserves the right to request a police officer to be present during your event. (four hour minimum).


How to Rent the Discovery Center


The building is generally available after 2:30 p.m. on weekdays and all day Saturday and Sunday. Special rates are available for NYFS donors and municipalities within our nine-city primary service area.

We are happy to work with you to make sure you have an enjoyable and memorable experience. We require advance notice for most rentals. A cancellation fee may apply.
