Donations
Penny Pinchers is happy to accept your donations of gently-used items up to one hour before store closing each day. Because we wish to provide our customers with items of the highest quality, we do ask that your donations meet the following standards:
Acceptable Donations:
- Clean, clothing, shoes, and boots
- Paperback and hardcover books.
- Records, CDs, DVDs, cassettes, and VHSs
- Jewelry and accesories
- Household and Decor Items
- Furniture in good condition - including dressers, tables, chairs, and sofas
Disposal/environmental concerns prevent us from accepting certain items. Before you donate, please consider the following items as unacceptable (in addition to items not passing the standards set above):
Unacceptable Donations:
- Infant and child car seats, strollers, cribs and high chairs
- Appliances including microwave ovens
- Console Stereos, TVs, Exercise Equipment
- Furniture that is damaged or stained
- Office furniture , typewriters, or computer equipment
- Mattresses or bed frames
- Carpeting
- Encyclopedias, text books, magazines, and Reader's Digest Condensed books
- Plumbing fixtures, light fixtures or other similar types of items
- Any items that are damaged or stained or missing pieces
