Volunteer

NYFS is always looking for volunteers to help NYFS live out its mission of transforming lives today and creating a better tomorrow for youth, adults and families. Our greatest need is for youth and adult Senior Chore Program volunteers who are willing to help seniors live independently in their homes.

We are also looking for volunteers willing to assist with NYFS special events and to participate in youth mentoring projects through the Unity Center program in Roseville. For more information about Senior Chore volunteering, please contact Debbie Wells at 651-757-4061 or debbiep@nyfs.org. For more information about the Unity Center, please contact Amanda Duhon at 651-379-3459 or amandad@nyfs.org.

Current Opportunities

Unity Center Program Volunteer

Our common goal for the Unity Center is to bring learning to life by uniting as a community to ensure that all of our students have opportunities to learn, earn, and lead. The Unity Center is a student-centered learning environment that provides students the opportunity to participate in a variety of free academic, STEAM, and cultural opportunities in order to equip them with the skills to thrive in school and beyond.

Senior Chore Volunteer

Youth and adults are welcome to sign up for one-time or ongoing volunteer opportunities to help seniors live independently in their homes. Volunteers help with routine and seasonal indoor and outdoor chores.
