Counseling Services

Our licensed mental health professionals serve youth, adults, and families from diverse cultures, ethnicities and life experiences. We offer individual, family and couples counseling services.

Counseling Clinic

Common concerns of our clients include relationship problems, parenting issues, problems in school, depression, anxiety and problems with anger and/or attention. Our clients’ ages can range from 3 to 103. We do thorough assessments and always take into account the strengths of the individual and the amount of support in their environment. We work with people individually and/or in various family groupings depending on what is best in any given situation. Treatment plans are developed collaboratively between the client and the therapist to be meet their needs. Treatment always takes into account the strengths of the client and their support system.

Requesting an Interpreter

Our staff work to provide culturally competent services to people from many different backgrounds. If you would like to make an appointment in a language other than English, please call 651-486-3808, say “interpreter” and indicate the language you prefer and your phone number. We will call you back in a few minutes with an interpreter. In-person translation services can be arranged during counseling sessions.

Insurance and Billing

NYFS accepts all major forms of insurance and is dedicated to helping you receive the help you need, regardless of circumstances. Some clients may qualify for sliding-fee scale payments. For more information please call 651-486-3808.
